Acquisitions and acquisition strategy

Tempest Security has for the most part grown organically since the business was founded. A handful of acquisitions have been made over the years to increase sales and supplement the service offering.

2014

We acquired Svenska Probus Säkerhet AB and established our technology department, which designs, installs and performs service on alarms, CCTV and passage systems.

2016

E.S.T Protect was acquired to strengthen our cutting-edge offering in camera surveillance and video analysis.

2017

Acquired I-CRC Ltd, a London-based company in investigation and security consulting.

Falck Security AB and its alarm center were also acquired, which positions Tempest Security as one of four suppliers in Sweden with all services subject to authorization (except value management).

2018

Acquired Gothia Protection Group (GPG) which is a leader in criminal investigation and risk management in Sweden.

Autumn 2020

The company presented new financial targets where sales will amount to SEK 1 billion with a 10% EBITDA margin by 2025. Strategic acquisitions play an important role in this journey and we have consequently increased the pace of the search for suitable acquisitions. The set acquisition strategy focuses on margin-strengthening acquisitions, but we also see a number of opportunities to acquire companies in the surveillance business under the premise that they meet our targeted investments in that segment. We continuously process potential acquisitions as we see that it is an important part of our growth journey ahead.
